K-9 Health Solutions is located in Frederick MD. All orders will be shipped from this location via UPS. Below, we have outlined our shipping policies and procedures to hopefully answer all your shipping questions.
We realize shipping can play an important role in online purchases, please take time to read the information below and if you have any other questions or concerns please let us know.
When will my order ship?
Orders are usually processed and shipped within 2-3 business days from when the order is received.
How will my order ship?
K-9 Health Solutions has a standing agreement with Dinovite to ship all products using UPS only. The following UPS shipping options are available to our customers:
UPS Sure Post
UPS Ground Service
UPS Next Day Air
UPS 2nd Day Air
UPS 3 Day Select
We realize other carriers may be less expensive at times and we apologize for any inconvenience our restricted shipping carrier options may cause.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship all orders via UPS. As a general guide we have included a UPS Shipping Map in the upper left of this page. If you “click to enlarge” you will see an “approximate” time line for an order to ship from our location in Maryland to your location.
When it comes to determining number of days to receive your order please keep in mind the following:
The day your order ships from our location is Day 0. This day is not counted in the estimated total number of days to receive your order shown in the map above. This also applies to any UPS expedited shipping options. The number of days to receive your order is counted in “business” days only. Do not include weekends or holidays in the shipping time.
Why are shipping costs so expensive?
At K-9 Health Solutions we do our best to keep shipping costs to a minimum. We negotiate our rates with UPS, but being one of the “little guys” on the block, we aren’t able to negotiate rates as low as some of the big guys out there. Our shipping costs are calculated using “UPS Real Time” shipping rates. What this means to our customers is that when you place an order, the price quoted comes directly from UPS and is applied to your purchase, K-9 Health Solutions does not add any additional shipping or handling fees to your shipping cost. Below we have noted a few important aspects of the shipping process:
K-9 Health Solutions does not add any additional fees of any kind to your shipping cost. The price you pay in shipping is exactly the price quoted to us by UPS.
The bulk of UPS shipping costs come from the first 1lb of your package. Adding several more pounds to your shipment raises the shipping cost very little. If you’re ordering a product on a regular basis, consider purchasing the next size larger, this could save a lot in shipping costs over shipping a smaller product to you more often.
Will you notify me when my order ships?
Yes. When you place an order with K-9 Health Solutions and submit an active email during checkout, you will receive an order confirmation from our company immediately after your order is submitted. When your order is processed for shipping you will receive another email confirming your orders shipping status along with a UPS tracking number so you can check on the “in transit” status of your package.
*** Occasionally, because of spam filters associated with some email servers, our order confirmation and order shipping status emails are rejected and sent back to us as “undeliverable”.
If you do not receive confirmation of either an order and/or shipping, you can contact us at our toll free number or email us for status information.
***Please note, UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes. You must provide a physical address or your package will be delivered to the nearest UPS shipping facility and a notice will be mailed asking you to come pick up your package.
